Program Details How do I get my 25 RecycleBank Points?
 
 
  1. Click on the ‘Get Started Now’ button on the top of the page.
  2. Fill out the online registration form to open a RecycleBank account.
  3. 25 RecycleBank Points will automatically be deposited in your account



How do I earn RecycleBank Points for recycling?

 
 
  1. Once you register your account, you will receive a sticker in the mail that is linked to your residence address (it takes 3-4 weeks to get your sticker in the mail, so keep an eye out for it), (stickers will be mailed out starting in January 2010).
  2. Place the sticker on your primary recycling cart or container according to the instructions on the back of the sticker.
  3. The trucks that pick up your recycling will register that your home recycled and RecycleBank Points will automatically be deposited into your account. The point total will be based on how much your community has recycled. You will also get bonus RecycleBank Points by reducing the amount of waste that goes into the landfill. This saves the city money and they want to pass some of that benefit along to you.



How do I get rewards?
 
 
  1. Log into your RecycleBank account.
  2. Go to the ‘Get Rewards’ section and shop for rewards
  3. After you check out, the rewards will be mailed to your home within 7 - 10 business days. Online rewards will be emailed to you instantly.



When do I start?
 
 		 The program is now city-wide! The program began rolling out by collection area in February 2010 and became city-wide at the beginning of July 2010.
