Philadelphia Recycling Rewards will be phased in - collection district by collection district - beginning in February 2010. But you can set up your account today and earn 100 bonus Points. Stickers for your recycling bins will be sent out beginning in January 2010. Once the program launches in your neighborhood, you will begin earning RecycleBank Points. The Columbia section runs from Vine St. to Hunting Park Ave. and from the Schuylkill River to Broad St. This includes the Art Museum area, Fairmount, Brewerytown and part of North Philadelphia. The Fairhill section extends from Vine St. to Hunting Park Ave. and from Broad St. east to the Delaware River. This includes Northern Liberties, Kensington, Fishtown and Port Richmond.
This covers the area from the Delaware River to North Broad St. bordered on the north at Cheltenham Ave. and on the south by Glenwood and Lehigh Aves. It includes Bridesburg, Richmond, Feltonville and Olney.
This is bordered by the Schuylkill River on the east down to I-95, up Cobbs Creek Parkway to City Ave. It includes University City, Overbrook, Mantua and Elmwood.
This district extends from Vine St. south to Pattison Ave. It includes Bella Vista, Queen Village, Pennsport, Society Hill, Old City, Passyunk Square, Graduate Hospital and parts of Center City.
This district is bordered by County Line down to Roosevelt Boulevard, from Cheltenham Ave. to I-95 North. It includes Fox Chase, Somerton, Bustleton, Wissinoming and Tacony.
This district is bordered on the north by Northwestern Ave. to Stenton Ave. to Cheltenham Ave. On the east it is bordered by Broad St. and Hunting Park Ave. to I-76. It includes Mt. Airy, Roxborough, East Falls and parts of Chestnut Hill.
